Ning Chong
Ning Chong is a prominent Singapore-based art advisor, collector, and entrepreneur who operates at the intersection of cultural legacy and wealth management. With over 18 years of experience across London and Singapore, she has established herself as a leading voice in the professionalization of art as an alternative asset class. In 2022, Ning founded Family Office For Art (FOFA), a first-of-its-kind boutique advisory in Singapore, addressing the complex needs of high-net-worth individuals and families by providing specialized services in collection management, estate planning and legacy building. In 2017, she co-founded The Culture Story with her father, a private gallery and salon designed to foster community among collectors and promote art education.
Prior to her own, Ning spent five years at the National Arts Council (NAC), where she oversaw major initiatives including Singapore Art Week and the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Ning is a frequent speaker on market trends and the evolving role of women in wealth, consistently advocating for a “human-centric” approach to collecting—one that prioritizes personal narrative, social connection and stewardship. Ning is a board member at Objectifs (Centre for Photography and Film) and committee member at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).
Ning holds a BSc in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education in London.
