
Ning Chong
Ning Chong is the founder and managing director of Family Office For the Art (FOFA), bringing over 15 years of experience in the art world across London and Singapore. At FOFA, she leads the firm’s strategic direction, providing specialised advisory services across its five core pillars: art collection management, estate planning, legacy-building, collection amplification, and philanthropy. With a deep understanding of the global art market, Ning works closely with private collectors and corporate clients to navigate the complexities of collecting, stewardship, and cultural investment.
Beyond FOFA, Ning is also the co-founder of The Culture Story (TCS), a private art space in Singapore dedicated to fostering dialogue around art collecting, supporting local artists, and promoting art education. Through curated exhibitions, thought-provoking programmes, and exclusive events, she continues to advocate for deeper engagement with the arts, shaping a more vibrant and informed collecting community.
Prior to her work at FOFA and TCS, Ning was with the Singapore Tourism Board and spent five years at the National Arts Council in the Visual Arts department, where she spearheaded the Singapore Art Week campaigns and managed the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2011 and 2015.
A passionate advocate for the arts, Ning is a sought-after speaker on topics such as art collecting, market trends, and building legacies through art. She is a patron of the Singapore Art Museum, a board member at Objectifs (a non-profit centre for
filmmaking and photography), a committee member at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and an advisor to SHAW Studios, managed by the Hong Kong Shaw Foundation.
She holds a BSc in Economics and Economic History from the London School of Economics and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education in London.
